Diemer-McKinney Picks Up Second NCAC Men's Distance / Mid-Distance Athlete of the Week Award

Wabash College freshman Haiden Diemer-McKinney earned North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Track and Field Distance / Mid-Distance Athlete of the Week honors for the second time this season for his Friday evening performance for the Little Giant team.

Diemer-McKinney posted the sixth-fastest time in Division III this season with his winning effort in the 800-meter run at the Friday Night Spikes meet at Rose-Hulman. 

The freshman ran the race in 1:53.45 for the fourth-fastest time in Wabash school history for the indoor 800.

Diemer-McKinney anchored the Little Giants' winning 4x400-meter relay team that completed the race in 3:26.19 for the second-fastest time among NCAC schools this season and 33-quickest in Division III.

The freshman runner was first recognized as the NCAC Men's Distance / Mid-Distance Runner of the Week on December 12, 2022.
