Paddle Perry is partnering with Ohio River Scenic Railway to offer a 4 mile paddle on the Mighty Ohio River from Tell City to Troy, IN! Grab a bite from The Barge Inn Restaurant in Troy after your paddle and enjoy dinner on the train back to your vehicles! (Don’t worry, we’ll watch your things while you’re relaxing on the train!)
There is exceptional history in the Perry County, Indiana vicinity. With the American Discovery Trail and the Ohio River Scenic By-Way crossing the area, and the Hoosier National Forest in the neighborhood, this should be a unique, exceptional event! The rail Depot in Tell City is a very attractive facility, as are the riverfront park and trail, along with the floodwall murals! This is one of a very few combined paddle/train events in the U.S.!!
