Rep. Mark Messmer (R-IN) joined other members of the Indiana congressional delegation, state officials, and agriculture leaders in welcoming Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins for a farm tour in Indiana. The visit aimed to showcase the state's agricultural output and discuss priorities for the next Farm Bill.
“Indiana leads the nation in agricultural production and innovation,” said Rep. Messmer. “It is an honor to host the Secretary in the Hoosier state, and I look forward to a continued fruitful partnership with the Trump Administration as we work together supporting the needs of family farmers.”
The tour emphasized Indiana’s role in U.S. agriculture and addressed issues important to family farmers within Indiana’s 8th Congressional District.
